Clean Feed's cover for Tony Malaby's "Tamarindo Live", one of the best Jazz albums of 2010, or so I am being told (I haven't listened to even one 10th of all great Jazz albums this year, but I agree this one is fantastic, without having to place it with the best).
I am here all for the cover. The church mosaic carries some latin/southwestern notes, certainly some serious Catholicism. The stars, on the other hand surround St. Mary (a "woman clothed with the sun, having the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars") in an almost frolicsome, Jazzy, way.
